Our permission
To focus on the survival of art practitioners and reveal the low income, high pressure and instability of the art industry in Guangzhou (Canton) Mutual aid with humour and irony to express the ‘bitter and unspeakable’ voices of artists, and to warm up each other to reveal the contradictions of the industry that the value of art has been neglected, and the over-weighting of the market and the voice of capital, resulting in the fact that artists are ‘worse off than chickens’ reflecting the current situation of the art industry through the ‘Association’ as a form of banter. To draw the attention of the outside world to the survival difficulties and structural problems of the art industry, and to reflect the helplessness of artists through cultural criticism.
本協會聚焦廣州（廣東地區）藝術從業者嘅生存狀況，揭示藝術行業入面低收入、高壓力同唔穩定嘅現實。以互助、幽默同反諷嘅方式去表達藝術家嗰種 『苦但講唔出』 嘅聲音，互相取暖，反映出藝術價值被忽視、市場同資本聲音過重所帶嚟嘅矛盾，令藝術家嘅生活 『仲慘過做(鴨)同做（雞）』. 透過 『協會』 呢種戲謔形式，去映照藝術行業現狀，提醒外界關注藝術從業者嘅生存困境同結構性問題，並以文化批判方式呈現藝術家嘅無奈。
